Watching Fencing Live is a Blast

Wow. I’ve had a great time keeping up with the fencing over at NBCOlympics.com. I’ve gotten up early almost every morning to catch the finals broadcast live. Much of the video is available just hours after the broadcast for those who work or sleep during those times, but watching Olympic Fencing live when you have no idea who is going to win is just amazing. There’s still time! While the individual events have ended, you can catch the team events starting with Women’s Sabre tonight at 9:30 ET!

One other thing I’ve discovered is that I will need to make a few changes to my previous panels. The foilists used the visor masks this year (a surprise to me as they did not use them at Worlds), and there are a few other smaller details I need to correct. I’ll get around to that eventually, but for now I need to remain consistent with my panels. I’ll have some more time soon so expect to see a little more experimentation in upcoming weeks. The details tend to really annoy me, but my end goal is to simplify my artwork so that it just gets the point across. The story and the characters are the most important things to me right now. Hopefully you’ll stick with me to see how things turn out!
