Update: I had to redo this page. I wanted it to be a good page, and I felt like the other one didn’t cut it. I couldn’t even stand to look at my stats all week because I didn’t want to know how many people were looking at that page! It still isn’t where I would like it to be, but I think it’s an improvement over the first draft. I’ll leave the other page here if you want to compare. I hope I still have time to get next week’s page done! o.O PS, Serik is having those dreams about his father again…

The tradition of the Berkutchi (Eagle hunters) in Kazakhstan is fascinating. I only wish I couuld do it justice. Did you know an an eagle can take down a full-grown wolf? (note: graphic video) Plus, visit the site of artist Vadim Gorbatov who captures the spirit of falconry in his gorgeous paintings.

Kazakhs hunt with eagles? No way. I would never have believed it if I hadn’t seen the video…
Does this mean Serik is in danger?
Well…it’s more of a dream-flashback.
I understand! thanks.
I think the artwork on both pages are interesting.
I don’t think your first page on this was as bad as you’re imagining. I liked the two frame entry into Serik’s dream and the gradual approach of danger to the rabbit. The new page has nice features, too: the last two frames are particularly striking.
I agree with Fencing Bear
