An attempt to draw a transformer-style robot. This guy is supposed to be a CH-46 Sea Knight. Drawing robots, particularly transforming ones, is especially challenging as you have to 1. figure out which parts of the vehicle go where, and 2. draw the parts in perspective. Makes me especially appreciate the artwork of folks like Chris Crontiris who draw this stuff so naturally. But it’s a good exercise for me so I’ll probably do more of these.

Oh, I’m a HUGE TF fan, so I picked up a copy of You Can Draw Transformers by Simon Furman/Guido Guidi that was half price at Books-A-Million. It’s got some simplified illustrations in it that I really liked, so I wanted to give it a try. It’s a fun exercise so I plan to draw more soon!
