Okay, I feel guilty for not posting much during the winter break. The holidays were a blur as usual, and I am relieved that they are over and I can get back to business. I didn’t do as much drawing as I should have but I did do a ton of reading, finished a small children’s book I have been working on (soon to be announced), snagged a small professional coloring job and started brainstorming for a big secret project that will play out probably a year or two down the road. That’s kind of a cruel tease, sorry!

On Monday I begin the new quarter at SCAD with three classes: Intro to Sequential Art (yay!), Advanced Survey of Computer Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Maya, and Dreamweaver), and Survey of Western Art II (huh???). You’d think that taking something like 30 hours of college art history for my BFA would have exempted me from that, but I digress. I’m super stoked about these classes, and hoping for a Big Epiphany this quarter! Since classes will be the focus of effort, I’ll post artwork when I can. So thanks for hanging in there, I hope everyone has a great new year!
