An attempt to draw a transformer-style robot. This guy is supposed to be a CH-46 Sea Knight. Drawing robots, particularly transforming ones, is especially challenging as you have to 1. figure out which parts of the vehicle go where, and 2. draw the parts in perspective. I’ve been going through old boxes of drawings and sketchbooks and I came across this guy. I drew him back in ’96 as kind of an alternative for the famously scorned Atlanta Olympic Mascot, Izzy.
